Dear Parents, Guardians, and Visitors,

Welcome to Mengo Primary School, a place where academic success, moral values, and holistic development are nurtured. As one of Uganda’s most historic institutions, we take great pride in upholding the legacy of excellence that has defined this school since its founding in 1897.

As the Deputy Head Teacher, my role is to ensure that all learners receive the best possible education in an environment that promotes discipline, respect, responsibility, and personal growth. At Mengo Primary, we believe that education is a shared responsibility, where teachers, students, and parents must work together to achieve success.

Our Learning Approach

Mengo Primary School follows a structured and student-centered approach to learning, ensuring that each pupil:

  • Develops strong academic foundations in core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies.
  • Receives mentorship and guidance to build confidence and self-discipline.
  • Engages in extracurricular activities to develop talents in music, sports, and leadership.
  • Learns moral values that align with our Christian foundation, shaping them into responsible citizens.

Strengthening Our Future

While we take great pride in our achievements, we also acknowledge the challenges we face in improving infrastructure, acquiring modern learning materials, and expanding student support programs. With the help of parents, alumni, and well-wishers, we are working towards facilitating better learning experiences and uplifting the school's standards.

Our Commitment to You

As we continue to grow, my commitment remains to uphold the school’s high standards, support our dedicated teachers, and ensure that every child receives quality education. I encourage parents and guardians to stay actively involved in their children's education because your engagement is key to their success.

Thank you for choosing Mengo Primary School. Together, we can build a brighter future for our learners!

Naula Harriet
